Monta Krafte

For me, painting is a way to feel the world. I have studied art at Liepāja University and have had two solo exhibitions. I have also participated in the Liepāja 400th anniversary art biennale and the Karosta festival.

I am inspired by the sea, light, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments. I paint what I see every day – my beloved Liepāja, the sea, flowers. I also enjoy painting portraits, as I believe that people are the most interesting thing in the world — every face tells a unique story full of emotion and life.

My works are in private collections in Latvia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.

The paintings shown here are created by me, inspired by the sea, beach, city, and harbor landscapes.
They can become a beautiful souvenir from Liepāja, a unique keepsake, or a heartfelt gift.
