About Ezera māja

A cosy stay in the heart of Liepāja — between the lake and the sea

Ezera māja is a cosy guest house in Liepāja, set in a special location — on a street connecting Lake Liepāja with the sea. The city centre and beach are just about a five-minute walk away, so you can enjoy both city life and a peaceful stay close to nature.

Our guest house is housed in a wooden building more than a hundred years old, whose historic atmosphere and distinctive character have been carefully preserved. The interior harmoniously combines natural materials, wooden details and artistic accents, creating a warm, cosy atmosphere where every guest can feel welcome.

A place to feel at home

We want your stay at Ezera māja to be comfortable, pleasant and fondly remembered. Guests have access to a kitchen for preparing meals, a garden, a spacious courtyard for parking and relaxing, and a veranda for enjoying leisurely moments. A large chestnut tree grows in the courtyard, providing welcome shade during the warmer months and adding a special charm to the setting.

You can choose the accommodation that suits you best — from a cosy room for two to more spacious accommodation for a family. We strive to create a setting that combines the warmth of home, historic charm and the opportunity to discover Liepāja at your own leisurely pace.

Our awards and recognition

  • 2011 — Ezera māja was awarded Latvia’s national eco-certification for tourist accommodation, the “Green Certificate”.

  • 2015 — received the Kurzeme Tourism Association’s “Lielais Jēkabs” award in the category “Most Traditional Accommodation in Kurzeme”.

  • 2020 — Ezera māja was awarded the “Hiker-friendly” label.

We look forward to welcoming you!
